Queen Nereida Lobo’s trip to Cape Verde went exactly how she had wanted it to go. She spent time with with children in classrooms not just donating resources but had the opportunity to speak to the children about the importance of education. She enjoyed the one to one conversation with the children because she really wanted to inspire them. She came from the same community and wanted to let the children know they have a bright future and education is the key.
