Queen Nereida Lobo the reigning Miss Africa USA who hails from the beautiful country of Cape Verde is passionate about the education of children. Growing up in a disadvantaged community, she understands fully well what it means to go to school without bare necessities. She understands how children feel when they have no access to educational resources. Her Goal is to have a great impact and support children with the provision of 400 Back Packs for kids in Cape Verde, Ghana, Cameroon and Nigeria. She plans to hold several drives across the United States to collect Back Packs and raise funds for shipment to these countries where she will travel and distribute to deserving school children.
