More than 20 years of experience serving public, private, and non-profit sector customers and delivering award-winning programs – ranging from the reengineering of a city-wide sports program to working through local, state, and national partnerships to improve opportunities for people living in the community.
Over the years, I’ve enjoyed playing a unique role in supporting, strengthening, and empowering individuals and families through a broad range of community-based services that meet the needs and values of the community.
Currently serves as the Operations Manager at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza with Montgomery County Government. The Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza is the region’s premier gathering place for government, culture, commerce and community!
Located in Downtown Silver Spring, the Civic Building at Veterans Plaza is a premier event facility that provides an elegant setting for all types of events. Just minutes from the Nation’s Capital and several local hotels, the Civic Building combines modern touches with natural design and provides space for corporate events, private parties, wedding ceremonies, receptions, and more! Right outside of the front door you can find the beautiful Veterans Plaza, which provides outdoor space for concerts, festivals, and live entertainment. The Plaza also contains a lighted pavilion covering a seasonal ice skating rink.
Silver Spring is full of life and the Civic Building is at the heart of all the action!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time outdoors, attending community events or enjoying the downtown Silver Spring area.
