Anna De Chiricco, founder of BlingQueenFashionz, understands the importance to empower young African women to become today’s new leaders. “We all must get involved.”

Las Vegas, NV, February 05, 2009 –(PR.com)– “That is why I felt it was crucial that BlingQueenFashionz.com provided sponsorship in this important Miss Africa USA Scholarship Beauty Pageant. I also acknowledge founder/CEO: Mrs. Lady Kate Njeuma, for her effort to support the pageant’s mission of humanitarian aid and relief to the disadvantaged children and their families of Africa.” says De Chiricco

BlingQueenFashionz.com’s Anna De Chiricco was invited to personally participate in this event. Ms. De Chiricco flew to Atlanta, Georgia to show her support. Anna’s BlingQueenFashionz gift was $5,000.00 worth of fashion jewelry to embellish the different ensembles worn by the contestants.

Anna De Chiricco states, “It was truly a wonderful experience getting to know these girls. The time spent was filled with countless activities. This included a night of dancing with all the pageant girls and to an early morning tour of the great Martin Luther King Home and Historical Site. All done on barely 3 hours of sleep. It will always be a lifetime memory learning and becoming involved in a whole wonderful, new culture. There was very high energy and it was a total blast.”

Anna was surprised to be asked on two occasions to give a speech and share her experiences about the pageant and it’s meaning. “It was a true honor to be asked to speak at the Miss Africa USA Scholarship Pageant which is presented by Shrine Productions, a global production company of Georgia.” Ms. De Chiricco concluded.

They would like to congratulate the winner of the 2007 pageant: Miss Nigeria 2007, Mfonobong Essiet, and 2008 winner, Miss South Africa, Nyasha Zimucha.
