Faithful Uchenna Okoye is a Nigerian-American software engineer, creative visionary, and finalist for Miss Africa USA 2025. With a background at Google, where she led the Jetpack Compose foundation layout system and Android Automotive messaging, Uchenna blends technical excellence with a passion for storytelling and cultural empowerment. She is the founder of Gemstones, an AI-powered platform for learning African languages, and BlackGem Productions, a media company dedicated to uplifting African narratives through animation and literature.

Faithful holds a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Journalism, allowing her to bridge logic and language with ease. She is also the founder of the Providence Ebubechi Memorial Foundation, which offers 30-year fully funded scholarships for Black students in Africa and America. Through her work in education, tech, and cultural advocacy, Faithful continues to champion the belief that African voices — and African brilliance — belong on every global stage.
