Lady Kate Njeuma is a Cameroonian-American currently resident in Maryland, married with two children. Lady Kate founded the Miss Africa USA Pageant in 2005, having moved to the United States from England.

Upon relocating to a great nation such as the United States, Lady Kate Njeuma soon realized the potential and possibilities that women in America have, especially African women. Inspired by her mother who has been the greatest role model in her life, her mother’s commitment to her children and her  community, she began working and volunteering in various women’s groups within her community as a leader. She began to inspire many women to develop themselves and live their full potential. In 2005, Miss Africa USA Scholarship Pageant was launched in Georgia, creating a platform to empower young women as goodwill ambassador, grooming young women to become great leaders to impact the  world. The Pageant is a great and entertaining way to share the African culture and experience with the wider community.

Lady Kate grew up in Cameroon and attained higher education in England where she attended the Victoria University of Manchester graduating with a BA in Economics and Social Sciences. She proceeded to enroll into a Nursing program at St Georges Medical School in London where she graduated as a Registered Nurse.  She then enrolled at South Bank University to study Health Education at the Post graduate Level. She later relocated to the United States where she currently resides with her husband and two children.

As a dynamic community leader, she has had the honor to inspire and empower thousands of young women across the United States and Africa, through the Miss Africa USA Pageant and other programs she has initiated. Lady Kate has appeared on several Television Programs to share her experience with the world. She remains committed to her mission of empowering women.
