A proud Nigerian-Panamanian American, Porscha was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as one of five siblings, including her twin brother. Rooted in the rich heritage of the Yoruba tribe of Lagos, Nigeria, her story is a testament to the power of perseverance, faith, and an unwavering commitment to impact.
Despite facing life-altering challenges—including a devastating house fire at the age of 12 and the heartbreaking loss of her oldest brother and grandparents—Porscha refused to let hardships define her. Instead, she chose to rise, lead, and inspire, transforming pain into purpose.
A Champion for Education, Innovation & Leadership
At just 16 years old, Porscha was accepted into a STEM early college program, where she discovered her passion for coding and technology. Her thirst for knowledge led her to North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She later honed her expertise through certifications in Media Training from the Columbia School of Broadcasting and Women’s Leadership & Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.
A Global Force for Change
Beyond her professional success, Porscha has used her platform to champion advocacy, leadership, and social impact. As a distinguished pageant titleholder, she has represented the U.S. on global stages, earning accolades such as Miss District of Columbia United States 2016 and placing 1st runner-up in two international pageants in 2019.
Her dedication to social causes led her to Capitol Hill, where she became a lobbyist and an Alzheimer’s Ambassador to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, helping secure over $3 million in NIH research funding for Alzheimer’s and dementia. A powerful voice in media, she has been featured in major publications, interviewed on Fox and BBC, and hosted a globally streamed Tech Talk podcast, reaching audiences in 135 countries with discussions on technology, leadership, and innovation.

Now, as the Honorary Queen Ambassador of Miss Africa USA, Porscha is committed to expanding her global impact by advocating for education, leadership, and women’s empowerment.
