The founder of Miss Africa USA, Lady Kate has unveiled her plans for African women and young girls particularly in The Gambia. Lady Kate and Frances Udukwu, the current Queen of Miss Africa USA 2015/2016 recently met the vice president and minister of Women’s Affairs, Her Excellency Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy in Washington DC during the 7th African Leadership Magazine Award Summit where they discussed wide range of issues with her.
The mission of Miss Africa USA is to empower young women of African heritage in The United States of America by fostering education, leadership and goodwill. The Pageant also seeks to promote African culture through fashion, dance, Art while helping to build and showcase a very strong and vibrant Africa Diaspora.
