The 2006 pageant was hosted at the Atrium in Stone Mountain Georgia. 21 contestants competed for the crown and Miss Teizue Gayflor made her mark on the audience and the Judges, walking away with a cash Prize of $3,000, trip to Liberia for on a humanitarian mission and lots of promotional gifts from sponsors and supporters.  Miss Teizue, a Masters student at UMASS, came from Boston not knowing she was going to be the Queen. Teizue was amazingly the last delegate to be confirmed for the pageant having registered late.  She appeared very friendly and relaxed through out the pageant rehearsals and was too busy having fun. The big night came and she stood out as the Queen.

The first runner up was Miss Semra Kebede from Ethiopia, Third Runner up was Miss Eunice Karanja from Kenya, fouth Runner Up was Miss Awa Ly from Senegal and the fith runner up was Miss Tammie Garr from Liberia.

It was simply another great African pageant with guests numbering up to 800 at the Atrium.  Sponsors included Western Union, MoneyGram and Kenya Airways.
