My name is Uzoamaka Faith Ezeakunne, from Nigeria. I am a Software Engineer, Research Scientist and a PhD student in Computer Science at Florida State University. I currently live in Washington State USA. I was born in Lagos, Nigeria where I lived until 15, then I moved to Accra, Ghana where I lived for a few years before moving to USA. Living in Lagos and Accra amplified my love for the diverse African culture, and living in USA exposes me everyday to different opportunities to being an independent woman. My platform is Woman’s wellness where I hope to share the lessons I have learned to mentor the next generation of women not to be confined to what the community tells them to be, but to leverage opportunities and build a life for themselves where they live on their own terms.
