It is not very often nor is it common to come across Authentic Masai Fashion in The United States of America. Miss Africa USA Organization decided to showcase the Masai Fashion this year in a very big way. The Opening Scene which depicted an African Village Play with the Contestants dancing to African Drumbeats was highly a Masai Affair. One African Fashion Designer from Tanzania has worked year after year to give the African Community a little piece of the Masai Fashion during Fashion shows in Maryland. This time she decided to go all out in creating the Authentic Pieces that were showcased at the Miss Africa USA Pageant. Congratulations to all the Contestants who debut the Masai Fashion and also to the brains behind the Masai Inspiration, Ms Ma Winney Casey, branded as Mitindo Nite Fashions. The Audience were treated to original Masai Jewelry and clothing, something the Community has hardly seen before.
