Hello my name is Adeleye Carew. I am running for this year’s Miss Africa USA. I’ve always had a desire to be in a pageant, especially a pageant like Miss Africa USA. I would have the chance to represent the African diaspora and my home country of Sierra Leone. My hobbies include going for long walks and reading. My background is a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. I am also a self published author. It was with these experiences that I chose my platform to be short stories for early education displaying the African cultures to teach young children. I understand that this will allow for the youths to grow up envisioning themselves in their future. My hope is to serve this organization with grace during my reign.
