The 2010 Miss Africa USA Banquet, a Red Carpet Event, featured the 2010 delegates of the pageant, special guests, members of the diplomatic core, elected officials and friends and family who came out to show their support for the Pageant delegates representing different African Countries. Ms Valerie Ervin chaired the Miss Africa USA Scholarship Pageant which took place in Montgomery County July 22-25-2010.

The first VIP banquet in the history of the pageant drew Politicians, members of the Diplomatic core, African Royalties, friends and family who dined together and shared the stories of the delegates and their humanitarian platforms for Africa and the United States.

Miss Gabon Coretha Antchouey supported by officials from the Embassy of Gabon in Washington DC, standing by their Queen at the Miss Africa USA Banquet 2010. Miss Gabon’s Platform for the pageant involves raising awareness on Cervical Cancer in Gabon, promoting early detection and prevention strategies for women.

African Designers played a very important role at the pageant this year, highlighting African couture on the runway.
