Adeola is a radiant force of compassion, leadership and purpose dedicated to uplifting communities through education, advocacy and service. As a child I witnessed first-hand poverty dimmed potential of children and how a single act of kindness could reignite it. This truth became my compass; this birthed the Ori-Ade Foundation “Every child is a crown”. from providing food essentials to local community and underserved neighbors, to projects involving the distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies to children and delivering of life sustaining food provisions to widows who had lost all hope of their next meal. Ori-Ade Foundation was there.I currently work as an Human Resource Professional, creating workplaces where people are valued and empowered. Beyond my career i work tirelessly in bridging the gap and connecting African diaspora through education and mentorship program. Miss Africa USA crown is a global platform to advocate for universal access to early childhood education, establish cross-cultural programs linking African heritage with diaspora development, and a global ambassador amplifying the voices of women and youth. A promise to the little girl with broken pencil, to the widow who wondered and to every African woman who has been told her dreams are too big, beyond the crown you have a servant whose roots are deep, whose voice is strong and whose mission is clear.

Hello my name is Adeleye Carew. I am running for this year’s Miss Africa USA. I’ve always had a desire to be in a pageant, especially a pageant like Miss Africa USA. I would have the chance to represent the African diaspora and my home country of Sierra Leone. My hobbies include going for long walks and reading. My background is a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. I am also a self published author. It was with these experiences that I chose my platform to be short stories for early education displaying the African cultures to teach young children. I understand that this will allow for the youths to grow up envisioning themselves in their future.
