NYASHA ZIMUCHA ON PAGEANT NIGHT: MISS AFRICA USA PAGEANT

Pageant night 2008, the beautiful Miss Africa USA, Nyasha Zimucha looks stunning in this beautiful emsemble (South African Flag Dress).  Nyasha spoke passionately of her platform: A Global Citizen Campaign to raise awareness about Xenophobia, attacks on foreigners in her homeland, South Africa. Nyasha. Nyasha pictured above performing her talent during the pageant competition. She danced to some great South African Rythms such as FREEDOM IS COMING TOMORROW. Nyasha obviously prepared very hard for the pageant and I guess her hard work paid off as she was Crowned Miss Africa USA Pageant 2008.

MISS AFRICA USA: VICTORIA NJAU AS MISS KENYA

She is certainly beautiful, poised, eloquent and full of confidence. Miss Kenya placed as the 2nd runner up at the Miss Africa USA Pageant 2008. She left a mark on the audience in the way she carried herself on stage and her eloquence. Miss Victoria Njau thrilled the audience with her adaptation of the Poem : Phenomenal woman………..An African Woman is a Phenomenal Woman.  She sure gave the poem all its worth on pageant night because she was excellent.  Miss Kenya spoke of a difficult childhood growing up in a little village in Kenya and was thankful to have all the opporutunities that America has offered her and she is now able to give back to her village where children are still very deprived. Her story was very touching indeed.  She rightly said you do not have to be Oprah Winfrey to give back and she is happy to share the little she has with the deprived of the village she grew up in, back in her homeland Kenya.

LADY KATE NJEUMA CONGRATULATES ESTELLA COUTURE

In all simplicity and modesty, Estella Couture wraps her mind in her creations  as one of Africa’s most sort after Designers not only in the USA but also around the world.  Estella Couture met Lady Kate Njeuma, the Executive Producer of Miss Africa USA back in 2007 at the Miss Africa Preliminaries in Silver Spring Maryland.  Estella was a judge at the preliminaries after which networking between the two followed.  Estella was invited as one of the top designers for the Miss Africa USA Pageant in 2007. She designed for Miss Liberia and Miss Sierra Leone who were among the top 5 winners of the pageant with no doubt that their outfits certainly earned some well deserved points. The following year Estella was again invited, this time as the Designer for the pageant and her creative mind got to work, producing the Miss Africa USA Signature flag out fits. Each delegate had an outfit made to reflect the flags of their countries. It was awesome, all the vibrant African colors were lighting up the stage at the 2008 pageant.  It certainly was not an easy task to have accomplished either. Estella was fully on board with the Miss Africa USA Pageant with the most beautiful and glamorous designs for the Evenning Wear Segment. Great African fashion with Western theme. Estella Couture once againg performed beyond expectations.   Lady Kate Njeuma is proud to congratulate Estella Couture for her dynamism and creativity, placing African Couture on the agenda in the global fashion industry.  From the Miss Africa USA Pageant we say thank you Estella and May God Grant you more inspirations.
